Since our inception as an organization in 2009, we have been instrumental in the following:

1. ‣ Assisted the local effort successfully terminating South Carolina Senate Bill 30 for the 2009 legislative session.
   

2. ‣ Maintaining a vigilant eye on new state and county legislation.
   

3. ‣ Assisted in securing final adoption of the ZEO and the Lake Overlay.
   

4. ‣ Assisting in the small area re-zoning petition drive.
   

5. ‣ Handling information-sharing requests for owners & neighborhoods on matters such as security, by-laws, liens, cost reduction of neighborhood lighting.
   

6. ‣ Helped a new organization, VOSO (Voice of Southern Oconee), establish itself.
   

7. ‣ Seated a Board of Directors representing a variety of neighborhoods across the county.
